Debra Gilmour is a multi-faceted woman who knows that holding the title of Mrs. Oregon International 2008 opens many doors and allows her to bring attention and awareness to her platform. Because of tragic personal experiences in her life Debra has dedicated herself to educating people on the dangers of drug and alcohol addiction and abuse. She does this through her work as the Executive Director of Oregon Prevention, Education and Recovery Association (http://www.opera-oregon.us/), through her community involvement with M.A.D.D. and Oregon Partnership and now using her title of Mrs. Oregon International 2008 to promote her platform—Healthy Families and Safer Communities.
In addition to numerous professional accomplishments Debra is also an inspiration to women of all ages. She recently turned 51 and became a first time grandmother. She is a shining example that women are beautiful and dynamic at every age. We’re looking forward to seeing all of the great things Debra will accomplish during her reign as Mrs. Oregon International 2008.
